  • Summary: Put this cpu in a Compaq CP 5210F desktop system. It originally had an Athlon 2.7 Ghz processor. This Phenom processor worked perfectly and bumped the system speed up to 3.42 Ghz.

Had to get one more for the road

S. Bailey, Amazon

  • Summary: These are great processors. Yes, they may be a little high on the wattage scale, but they are extremely stable and reliable. I was able to unlock all 4 cores and Prime95 burned in each core without errors.

  • Summary: Unlocked all 4 cores with MSI motherboard and am overclocking to 3.85 ghz (17.5 x 220). Just a nominal overclock with this processor. I was up in the 4 ghz range but not stable with my video. I'm not well versed on fine tuning vga and memory settings.
