Pros: I've built a pc with this cpu and a GIGABYTE GA-MA785GM-US2H, and ARCTIC Freezer 7 Pro Rev. 2, cpu cooler, believe it or not the cpu still runs strong, it can even be unlocked to 3 or all 4 cores, no problem. the mobo has some minor issues but runs great for the most part, the cooler is original ...
Cons: gigabit ethernet has to be disbale and reenabled if you shut down
Pros: I've been running one of these for 5 years OC'ed to 3.6ghz on the stock cooler and never have had an ounce of trouble. I don't have a mobo that allows unlocking but I've been happy with it as is. It's a great chip.
Unlocked to 4 cores, perfectly stable. 8Gb + SSD = decent PC

Summary: I can't believe it was so easy as flipping a switch on my motherboard to unlock the third and fourth core. And after some stress tests, I was pleasantly surprised to see it running as stable as any other CPU. So getting a fully working Phenom II x4 for this price is pretty hard to beat.
Pros: I was tempted on buying an unlocakble Phenom II X2 on an auction site, but when I saw that these were in stock at Newegg, and for a better price, I jumped on the occasion. Very stable, unlocked as a Phenom II X4 B50 running at around 3.3Ghz... For the price, this is hard to beat. Coupled with 8Gb...
Cons: Stock fan is loud when running a full capacity. Not a problem at lower RPMs, but might be annoying for those running more CPU-intensive applications. But then again, had the same problem with the stock fan on my Phenom II x6 1090T and another Phenom II too, so this seems to be a common issue for ...
Summary: if every other part is up to spec (550 and up, 8 gigs of ram) it has no problem running modern games maxed out....but it's not good at multi tasking like that (play a game, alt tab out and check internet, copy files from usb, open control panel, blah blah, then it slows down)
Pros: I've always had Phenom II x4's and now the FX series. bought this little guy for a smaller build. runs really quick and doesn't suck too much watts/volts. temps stay at room temp for the cores, the socket is usually 10 degrees f more. its old tech now, but also unlocks (i guess i'm lucky) to a x4...
Cons: when unlocked, stability is affected......well DUH!!!!
Summary: A year and a half ago I built a desktop using a ASRock N68C-S UCC motherboard (also bought from newegg) I used an older AM2 Athlon II CPU and 2 gigs of DDR2-1066 memory that I had laying around.
Pros: Well since alot of my hardware is starting to disapear I thought I would give some of them a review. This chip I put in my desktop back in 2009 and from the first day in it was able to scream at 3.9 with a 64 Pro on it with no issues.Back then I OC'd everything including my Geforce 9800 GTX and my...
