  • Summary: The 2212 HEs are usually not much more - get those if you can.
  • Pros: Runs cool, stable. Have built at least 30 dual proc systems with these and the 2212 procs.
  • Cons: NA

HE fo' sure!

Luke O., Newegg
25 July 2007
  • Summary: I setup a workstation with two of these, they really make Maya, Photoshop, and RealFlow rock. I'm impressed at their power consumption, monitored by APC utility on UPS. Two of these use less power than my old single socket 939 system.
  • Pros: Very low power consumption and heat production. AMD-V is great for VMware Serverand Virtual PC 2007. ccNUMA architecture provides amazing memory bandwidth with memory on both CPU.
  • Cons: Price is not very competitive in my eyes. I wish there was an option to include a factory heatsink for workstations. Warranty for OEM CPU is very short, and there is no PIB option for 2210 HE at Newegg when I ordered.
