Summary: Just what I needed! Replaced my old Intel Quad Core Q8200 CPU with this. Used the ASUS Sabertooth 990FX R2.0 for my motherboard and no complaints. I went with this instead of the Intel i5 4460 or higher because of 1. Price, this AMD is a little cheaper. 2. I wanted to see just how good 8-cores does and it's doing great. I am a bit of a gamer and play BF4. My old Intel was bottlenecking my EVGA GTX 660 terribly with 15-25 FPS.
Summary: In my opinion....you can't beat the price of these AMD processors. If you've got the coin to burn...sure you can throw a spendy Intel processor into your machine. I was working with a little bit of a budget, and i wanted to put some more money into other components of my pc. No complaints so far. This things is a beast. 8 cores? you kiddin me? Love it. I will probably keep buying AMD.
Summary: Great processor. I've not OC'd it to 4.2, but I plan to. The only con I have about this, and the reason I'm giving it 4 stars and not 5, is that the stock fan is extremely loud on load - almost like a jet engine. It's a shame that AMD indicates that you void the factory warranty by not using the included heat sink and fan, but not upgrading to a quieter fan almost isn't an option because the stock fan is so loud. AMD should ship out CPUs with better, quieter fans.
Summary: I've had this CPU for 2 and a half months. I've only used this for HD video editing so far, but it performs well. No issues. On my set-up, the CPU sits at about 32c when idle. When rendering for 10 minutes, the temperature doesn't go above 57c (80c would be the danger zone). Works well with the Corsair H60 water cooler. I hope to get at least 4 years out of it.
Summary: Pros: out of the box this card was faster than my old fx 4100. I got this because I wanted to overclock it and use it for gaming. I ended up overclocking this cpu to 4.5 ghz with 1.4 V and it is stable after using prime95. Temperature idle 25 - 30 C and during 100% cpu load it is around 53 Celcius. I use corsair i100h on balanced mode.
8 cores (see other thoughts for a fun rant about this lol)

Summary: Pros: 8 cores (see other thoughts for a fun rant about this lol). Multi tasks like a champ This cpu is like a v8 turbo diesel truck engine (powerstroke ftw). It is not the fastest out there but it can handle any load that your standard gamer or home 3d or video renderer will do with plenty of room to spare. the 8320 and its "bigger" brother the 8350 are the best overall bang for your buck in raw cpu power.
i recommend this amazing processor to anyone with a amd mobo

Summary: awesome but watercooling is a must i went with the corsair h100 but i still had to add fans to my vcore 1 and 2 on my motherboard after that i sit at about 28 or 29 or 30 celsius idle but on a full load ive only seen it top to like 40 celsius now with the stock heatsink/fan forget it id top 56 or 57 celsius with a full load idling would be about 45 celsius overall i recommend this cpu for the money and power it gives its a big bang for you buck and i use this for gaming...
