Summary: My machine is smoking! This processor runs all of my games with everything turned all the way up on a three monitor system without even a hiccup! No need to waste money on an expensive Intel processor for the same performance.
Summary: I do believe this processor will hold its ground for some time to come, even though the next generation of APU, CPU and GPU's are coming soon from AMD which will feature an even more powerful line of hardware while maintaining and improving on power efficiency.
Summary: I bought this processor to replace a Phenom II processor. I ordered it through site to store and it arrived before it's scheduled time, sweet. This is one powerhouse processor, I put it though it's paces and not even a slowdown did I experience with heavy multitasking.
Summary: This may be the last cpu upgrade of my lifetime. I have always liked AMD and this chip only reinforces my appreciation for this company. With this chip you really get your moneys worth. I use several Adobe products and the FX 8350 makes them fly at an incredible speed.
Summary: Just what I needed! Replaced my old Intel Quad Core Q8200 CPU with this. Used the ASUS Sabertooth 990FX R2.0 for my motherboard and no complaints. I went with this instead of the Intel i5 4460 or higher because of 1. Price, this AMD is a little cheaper. 2.
So far im pretty pleased. Be careful on the graphic card slots

Summary: Very good processor. Im running with a R9 270x and have been able to run anything thrown at me on ultra with 50+fps while recording. I run on high usually but did test the ultra settings and was amazed. Really no point to overclock this thing as it is already so fast.
Summary: In my opinion....you can't beat the price of these AMD processors. If you've got the coin to burn...sure you can throw a spendy Intel processor into your machine. I was working with a little bit of a budget, and i wanted to put some more money into other components of my pc. No complaints so far.
Summary: Great processor. I've not OC'd it to 4.2, but I plan to. The only con I have about this, and the reason I'm giving it 4 stars and not 5, is that the stock fan is extremely loud on load - almost like a jet engine.
Summary: I've had this CPU for 2 and a half months. I've only used this for HD video editing so far, but it performs well. No issues. On my set-up, the CPU sits at about 32c when idle. When rendering for 10 minutes, the temperature doesn't go above 57c (80c would be the danger zone).
