Summary: I am an exteme gamer nd I have high demand in faster processing, cpu nd its ability to work wid high end motherboards + multi gpu. Many thin dat having more no. of cores will give you faster performance but trust me I myself have tried it I had tried this over intel i5 and now I have replaced it again wid i7-3770k.........

Summary: Intel are the first who made processors for computers, & today they are the only 1 who made processors for NASA robots & advanced super-computers to work crores kilometers far from earth without a single compromise. In 2011, Intel announced that it is working on a car security system that connects to smartphones via an application. Today Intel have 100,100 Employees, where AMD have only 11,000 Employees.
Summary: I am not working with intel or amd, but i am working with a laptop company.Everything matter in technology like cache memory, cores, clock speed, but most important what is the technology is . If we are using a intel same price cpu then i am unable to find the diffrence in performance . but if you saying that only 8 core large cache memory is the performace benhmark, please proove it. Edit or render 3d movie or game , you know the thruth.
Summary: you can not compare with catch memory and cores intel with 2 cores and amd with 8 cores performance is the same. and after all everyone knows that intel is much better then amd. like for gaming, multitasking.
Summary: I know this place is crawling with AMD fan boys... so I'm writing to this for opening the eyes of those who are undecided what to buy. To the people who go for specs alone... here are some things to consider 1. Can a webcam of 20 Megapixels replace a DSLR of 12 megapixels? 2. Do you think two cameras of 8 Megapixels produce the same clarity images? 3. A graphic card has around 600+ cores... but can it do the work that the CPU does? and Vice versa? 4.
Summary: http://www.computerbase.de/artikel/prozessoren/2011/test-amd-bulldozer/ Die tl;dr Fassung: -Zu teuer -Zu hoher Stromverbrauch -Zu wenig Leistung -Zu spät. 2 Jahre früher und die CPU wäre vielleicht interessant.
