Summary: I know the 8350, is more of a server processor or multi tasking processor; over a gaming processor. Yet if you read reviews on it, you will get gamers in there boasting about the gaming performance. The 8350fx is a great chip, and regardless of those reviews it is not the best AMD gaming chip. My 8350 fx died, and due to budget reasons, and reviews. I went with the FX 6350.
Summary: Good ol' AMD. I've been using AMD cpus for years now and I'm still sticking with them. I haven't built a pc in along time and was excited to see it at this price. I bought this for a buddy's build and it runs any game and program he throws at it. The stock fan seems to do the job but under a heavy load it will kick up and make some pretty audible noise, I recommend the EVO 212 if you don't like fan noise.
Summary: I purchased this CPU with ASUS M5A99FX PRO R2.0 AM3+ AMD 990FX SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard. What a great combination! The CPU is super fast. I use my build for gaming and I this combination has been fantastic. This is only my second build - built a PC many years ago, but the combination of the two works for me. There have been others saying to add an aftermarket CPU fan and/or cooler. I did not do that.
Summary: Thought of giving this 6 core cpu a go and could not be more pleased with it. Not as power hungry as an 8 core and runs much cooler too. Using supplied standard cooling with no overtemps or heating. Fast enough to do everything instantly, for me anyway. Been used now for 1 month, every day for around 8 hours a day. Previously using a 4 core AMD for 4 years without any problems. Amazon delivery was super speedy from US to Australia.
