Summary: I chose this for my first rig and I can say that almost a year after buying it I have had zero issues at all with this CPU and still runs anything I throw at it. I have mine overclocked to 4.2GHz and haven't had any problems at all with cooling with the stock fan that comes pre installed.
Summary: I am not partial to AMD or Intel, but being someone who owns both Intel & AMD systems & built uncountable numbers of each, I will tell you first hand in *most scenarios* AMD's current line of CPU's are equally as good as Intel's in terms of real world performance.
Summary: Great budget cpu. I got mine for $99, for that price I don't think you can find anything that will come close to to. It overclocks nicely. Stock cooler is the typical stock cooler, junk. Doesn't cool well, noisy and doesn't last long. I got a EVO 212 cooler and it is quite and cools it great.
Summary: Nice, fast processor build for a user who surfs and uses office programs. Comes with stock cooler, which was fine for this application. I have one in a file server that does a lot more work and is more than adequate. Very good bang for the buck.
Summary: Very good processor for the price. Got mine clocking at 4334 MHz, and it's going great. Recommend not using the stock cooler that comes with it, especially if you plan to overclock. I bought a Cooler Master Hyper TX3, installed a second fan on the cooler, and it really does the job.
