Summary: I buy this item a couple weeks ago, when I received it the 1st thing was the ram was missing, then when I install the other components the mobo and procesor was overheatinp up to 60c only with the bios, I checked twice if there was any mistake when I install those components. The bad thing for me, it's I live in El Salvador and the price to send the parts it'd truly expensive, so, idk what to do right now with those broken parts.
Excerpt: I got this CPU for my starter build. It was cheap and it was fast. I have used it for Battlefield 4, Crysis, Fallout: New Vegas, and other popular games. Has run all of them above 40 fps (or higher) on high/ultra and only falling to 30 when I put Battlefield 4 on all ultra. For general computing it is snappy and responsive which is all I really care about. I will probably upgrade in the future to get more power, but this is an excellent CPU for your first build.
Excerpt: I bought this to replace a broken Phenom II 970, and was surprised to find that alongside the HD6770 and 8GB of RAM, I experienced a fps drop in Flight Sim from 43fps average to 39 fps average. Clocked it up to 4.4GHZ with a CM Hyper 212+ and got a 5% increase over the Phenom. Good solid CPU, and I got it for £85 a few months ago.
