Summary: I was looking for a decent processor for a secondary build that I was wanting to work on and found this. It is a good processor. And since several games out there need a quad core or higher to run, this was the perfect one to pick.
Summary: I like this CPU - its a great price and better value than an Intel i3 that is priced the same. Pros -Stock cooler runs cool temps and isn't unreasonably loud -OC'd to 4.6GHz, but I am sure that it could go higher CONS: -With my Nvidia GeForce 660, this CPU is the bottleneck
Summary: I have this in a 990fxa-ud3, over clocked to 4.6ghz. Very stable, be sure and get the latest BIOS, FC is the current one. Only down side is the advertize memory support should note that if using more than two banks it does not support 1866. With 16g it well only support to 1366. I have managed a stable overclock to 1460.
Summary: This CPU is a boss! Factory set @ 4.2Ghz! GTFO! For this amazing price and high quality cpu I can render anything! Not to mention I can still OC to an even higher speed! This is just amazing! AMD all the way!
Summary: The cpu is great, very fast. The cooler it comes with can get a little bit loud and the cpu would get a little hotter than I would like with the default cooler aswell. I didn't deduct a star however, because I planned from the start to get a different cpu cooler, and the downsides to the default cooler are the same with pretty much all cpus on the market today.
