Summary: Very undervalued and performs well. Offers a lot for the money. Used CPUs sell for quite cheap. I am a fan of Linux 64-bit Kernel. These perform great and better optimized. So far I have ran Ubuntu 9.04 and 9.10 64-bit Kernels on them.
Summary: My brother in Law who works for a Server Co. built a Pentium 4 - 2.6Gig System (512meg DDR) on an Intel Chipset based board. I'm using the 1700+ and it easily outpaces the Intel by 50% although I'm sure my setup is tweaked better. Intel Lovers have become the Suckers!
Summary: previous comment said "I would give it 5 stars other than its not 1.8GHz or 2Ghz.(Even though it runs like a 2Ghz P4)." -why didn't this guy go get it then, this review is about this processor and the user should have given it 5 stars like it deserves.
Summary: Execlent CPU! Your buying a 1.47GHz CPU, for $120, how can you beat that? Plus with an extra big L2 cache at 128k, not 32k like the P4s. If your looking to buy a CPU for a gamming computer, but dont have the money for your dream alienware pc comming in at $3000, this is for you! Cheep, fast, and realible. Also with 3DNow!+ !!! My friend has a 1.4GHz T-bird right...and I have the 1.47GHz XP. Well his doesnt have the 3DNow!
Pros: Great CPU, really cheep for what your getting. Its nice and fast, not with an L2 pipline at 32k like the P4s...instead with a L2 at 128k :D, which really helps.
Cons: I would give it 5 stars other than its not 1.8GHz or 2Ghz.(Even though it runs like a 2Ghz P4).

Cons: inzwischen veraltet und nicht mehr zu empfehlen
