Summary: Stock speeds are pretty ok. I actually used this for gaming. For certain cpu intensive games like Planetside 2 this cpu isnt enough. But some light overclocking with AMD Overdrive really helped. So I reccomend this. Great cpu if you found a good AM3 motherboard thats cheaper than its AM3+ Counterpart.
Summary: I couldn't buy better from anybody else. This product was exactly to it's specs. Once installed, it ran powerfully like I needed. I will buy again from this merchant with my eyes close. Excellent delivery!!!
Summary: I purchased to replace my dual core processor and I am glad I did. For the record my ratings on a windows 7 pro machine all reached 7.3 in the windows test chart so thumbs up to this processor.
Summary: Fast and easy setup. I am an experienced PC technician but the ease with which this installed was very commendable. Since installation i have experienced no problems with this system. The fan is relatively quiet as most OEM products can be quite noisy. Highly recommended product.
Summary: Installed Win 7 HP 64 bit and used a Gigabtye AMD 785G mobo with this processor. Runs fantastic! Will it beat an i5 or i7?? NO! But if you want to game, rip mp3's, convert video, general web surfing and some moderate audio production work, this processor will take it no problem. I put a bigger heatsink on it but it does not get hot.
Summary: Brought this to up my system Board on My Debranded HP Pavilion p6210y from an AMD Athlon II X2 2.5ghz to this processor (I brought through Amazon) so I can run a virtual server as well as a Media PC and I have been presently surprised on the performance of this processor thus far. Worked first time up with no issues (The Installation of the processor was way easier than that of a Intel Processor).
