Summary: I've been happy with the Athlon II X2 265. I'm not a gamer or a video editor, so budget is more important than speed. This processor is inexpensive while still offering dual cores and more-than-adequate speed for the average user.

Summary: Amazing Processor for the price. 3.3GHz stock clock speeds at such a low voltage makes for an amazing home theater processor. Very impressed. Bought this for use in my new home theater PC and it works flawlessly. Room to overclock it as well but with stock speeds of 3.3GHz there's really no need.
Summary: I bought this cpu to upgrade from an Athlon II X2 235e that runs at 2.7ghz. The board that i'm using currently doesn't support overclocking and only supports 89 watt processors so I found this as a safe & cheap way to hit the over 3ghz mark.
If your AM3 socket mobo only has a 65w TDP, what else would you get?

Summary: If you have one of those rare budget or value AM3 socket mobo's that only has a TDP max of 65w, your options become fairly limited. The decision came down to a slower triple or quad core of 65w TDP or this one. For $70, the price to performance ratio, I went with this one.
Summary: I have used AMD processors for may years and have never had a bad one or been disappointed. This one is super fast, and very low on power consumption. Installation was a snap. Don't know how they do it but I love this processor and will stick with AMD forever.
