swapped for a sempron

Kevin Conway, Amazon
1 July 2014
  • Summary: I get this to replace a sempron processor it worked perfectly. I didn't have to change any settings in my factory Hp Compaq workstation, the cpu was automatically configured and functional. The only thing I had to do was to confirm the hardware change when powering on the machine for the first time.

Goodbye to a trooper cpu

Anonymous, Newegg
24 May 2012
  • Summary: All earlier 2 core cpus look like dinosaurs by comparision. This runs year round in 90 degree heat outside and without a hiccup. And at room temp its 3.5g all day long Sweet!
  • Pros: Just think if amd would have had this baby back in 2007 we would all be saying core2who? Runs cool and quite. Overclocks like a champ. easter eggs with a core unlock.
  • Cons: Was released a year to late.

User Review

Ronald W., Newegg
19 July 2011
  • Summary: Usually this pin architecture will have 1 or more pins slightly bent making it a chore to install into the MB socket. All pins were perfect and dropped right in!
  • Pros: If you want to upgrade your system for little $$, this would be a good option. Very fast for an everyday use system.
  • Cons: None so far

  • Pros: It works as it should. I had to overclocked to 3.2 without any issues at all using an after-market HSF. Arrived quickly and packaged adequately.
