Good choice

Matt P., Newegg
30 October 2010
  • Summary: Used the Asus core unlocker feature but no joy, just a two core. This processor, above mentioned MB, INWIN ITX case and 4 gigs of GSkill ram has been a great upgrade over my old Media PC.
  • Pros: Excellent choice for mini ITX builds due to the low power consumption while still offering decent speed. Teams up very well with the Asus M4A88T-I MB. Runs pretty cool with stock Heat sink and fan, even in very small case. OC's easily and runs stable.
  • Cons: A little pricey compared to the regular 240.

29 September 2010
  • Pros: It's a great dual core for cheap gaming. No problems with it so far.
  • Cons: just a dual core, not a brand spankin' new 6 core, but oh well.
