Summary: Im running a fairly old system that still unfortunately uses Socket 939. I was extremely happy when I found this used processor as it's the fastest that my Motherboard can handle, but also it pushes me into a Multi-cored processor.
Summary: I have an ancient motherboard, GA-K8N Pro SLI has worked well over the years. At the time, I could not have bought a powerful processor for lack of funds, and even now I have chance to buy cheaply is a good and powerful processor for my old motherboard.
Summary: My son's computer has been a dog ever since we got it about 5 years ago. He got a new game for his birthday and we found out it wouldn't work with our old processor. I was ready to return the game but he came to me with the idea to replace the processor with this one.
Summary: I ordered this CPU from them and I thought I was getting a 939 socket CPU. I should have read the specs more clearly. It arrived in 2 days, and I saw it would not work for my m-board. I called, and was told that they would send an rma (sent out next day) and I sent it back-2 days it was refunded.
Summary: I was wanting to put some life back into my aging 2008 Compaq Desktop. It came stock with a 2.2 Sempron LE, 2 Gigs of ram, integrated graphics, and a weak power supply. So I started searching for parts to replace and upgrade this tin can of a computer. The processor was the last thing I needed.
