Summary: It worked great. I got in this trouble by trying to clean the computer and fan and broke the original one taking it out and trying to put it back in. Course by the time I got the new one I was much more careful and it installed immediately and correctly. It worked first time and works great. I probably will not remove it for cleaning in the future! Once burned, twice sky!
Summary: I PURCHASE THIS CHIP CAUSE I FOUND A MOTHER BOARD THAT WERE ALMOST NEW IN THE TRASH I BOUGHT A CHIP FOR IT AND RUNS GREAT WITH NO OVER HEATING ISSUES WAS A GREAT PRICE FOR IT.I RECOMMEND YOU THAT THIS CHIPS IS NOT GOOD FOR GAMING.ONLY PLACE THE OTHER GAMES THAT SUPPORT 64MB OR 128 MB GAMES.IS GOOD FOR A BASIC PC ON THE SIDE IF YOURS BREAKS
Summary: Baught this processor to replace one that I had thought I had overclocked and ruined. This new processor works great and seems reliable and so far it has been running fine. My computer setup does not allow me to Overclock this one. I recommend this processor to anyone who plans to do simple computing and not too much multitasking.
Summary: Good chip. Quite fast, with good performance. This is an older chip, but it still does the job. Good chip. Quite fast, with good performance. Summary: Worked perfect for me in an older Winfast 6100k8ma mother board. Running windows 7 on it with a 160 gig drive, 4 gigs of ram. My son uses it as his gaming machine for emulators. Had to tweak everything a bit, but this is a solid running CPU that has the power you need at a cheap price if you have an older socket 939 board.
Summary: I replaced a 3200 that cost $150 two years ago with this chip for $50. I haven't tried to OC yet, but, based on what the other reviewers have said, I will try it soon. It is already noticeably faster than the old chip. If you are building up a new system, then base it on one of the newer chips (AM2 etc.), but if you are upgrading an older socket 939 system and can live without dual processors go with this one.
