As a basic machine for a good 64bit Linux destro it was more the sufficient

Summary: The AMD 64 3200+ 2.2 ghz mas better then expected The efficiency of the processor shined when coupled to a newer more modern mother board. It has not crashed and went through an OS install without a hitch. Well it was Linux afterall. I recomend this product if you can live with the 2.2 GHZ speed. Using Linux 64 bit, which is less taxing then MS Windows, was the clincher.
Summary: I have to hand it to these guys, shipping was a breeze! It actually arrived the day BEFORE it was supposed to come, and that's really amazing considering our rural shipping out here. It was also packaged perfectly and professionally, and even though I had my own stick of Ceramique the included thermal paste was a nice touch. After installing it, my poor old system finally got the boost it needed!
Summary: I recieved this iteam in 2 weeks after ordering it. Processor works perfectlly, I succesifully overclocked it from 2.20 GHz to 2.71 GHz. Since I had 1.8 GHz processor before, it is pretty much good speed up. Multiplier is locked on this processor so you can onlly raise fsb, I have put multiplier to be 246*11 = 2706 MHz.
Cheap, easy and fun to overclock, not bad for a file server or backup PC.

Summary: Very nice CPU. The one I got overclocked very easily to 2.8GHz and runs nice and stable with a very minor voltage increase (1.4V). Even runs fairly cool at that speed (with an aftermarket upgraded CPU heatsink and fan). These are fun to play with and overclock for better performance, fairly cheap usually too. Performance isn't too bad for something like a file server, print server, or just plain backup PC in case your main PC is down for repairs.
Summary: I have an older computer which had severe overheating problems. After replacing the heat sink, the power supply and thermal paste (several times), I came to the conclusion that the CPU was at fault. The used AMD 64 3200+ CPU, which I purchased for less than $12 including shipping, solved the problem at last!!!! Thanks!!!!
Summary: I bought this processor to try a budget upgrade over my Pentium 4 HT. The Pentium 4 HT was a good processor, but I thought it was time for upgrade. I have not been using the Athlon 64 3200+ for long, but so far, it's great. I installed my GeForce 9800GT and can play Oblivion at max settings with no lag. IT also does a fine job handling other tasks. I'm going to try some editing on here and see how it goes.
Summary: An excelent procesor for a socket 754. One of higher (and not expensive) processor. Gave some kind of "life" to an -not so- old pc. Also you can think put this processor with some O.S. 64 bit ark.
