Summary: I bought this APU to build a machine to act as a media server and to some casual gaming. Obviously acting as a media server this thing doesn't even break a sweat. For light gaming I'm so impressed with what these integrated graphics can do. It handles all the games in my current steam library at 1080p at low or mid settings. Previously I've been playing all my games at 720p and there is no comparison. Even 1080p at lowest settings looks better than 720p at high settings.
This is one nice piece of hardware I bought at a great price!

Summary: This is just a nice piece of hardware for sure! I think that should sum it up pretty well! I have bought many CPU's over the years but I really like this one ALOT and I would recommend it a lot to anyone who want's a fast pc!
Summary: Also, this processor is a little picky with RAM. I could not get any G.Skill RAM to work properly with it. I switched to Corsair RAM with the same ratings and the Corsair worked without any problem.
Pros: A quad-core for under $100 with a integrated GPU that can actually play modern games.
Cons: The biggest con I have with this processor is definitely the heatsink that comes with it. It is very cheap. It gets the job done at stock clock speeds, but it is a little loud.
Summary: This is a fantastic APU, and everyday I am impressed by what it can do. I used this relatively cheap processor in building my work PC and love it. I've been able to run 3 monitors off the processor by using an APU compatible motherboard with 3 video out ports, and it loads all of the applications I need to use in a snap. Very impressed by such a small form factor.
Summary: Ordered this little bugger as a budget to replace my old intel in my newly upgraded and top of the line gaming PC. This came PRE overclocked from 3.6GHz to 3.9GHz, was PRE unlocked, and was the black edition! Had no clue it was going to be BETTER THAN IT SAID! Which doesn't happen too often online shopping and especially with PC parts. Love it!
Summary: Also insert obligitory bad stock heat sink comment here. It will work (in a case with decent ventilation) but really if you want to make use of the unlocked capabilites do yourself a favor and buy an aftermarket cooler.
Pros: Great price for what you get! Used this for a build for my dad, and he loves the performance of his new computer. This will handle any mundane computer task and has enough oompf on the included GPU to play games (although depending on the game and resolution you may need low detail settings).
Cons: Not a big con since my dad will never notice, but this particular APU tends to never hit its max turbo of 3.9 even when under stress testing. I think AMD fixed this with the Richland APUs though.
