Summary: Purchased to use in a computer built specifically to run Windows 10 Beta. The machine performs well and Windows 10 will answer a lot of objections by desktop users. The test program is virtually without bugs and even works well with printers and other accessories.
Summary: Pros: inexpensive. Powerful, plus a decent video card. Cons: crappy oem fan Have had this for a few months now and it works great, one of the only problems that I have seen is when using the over clock tool (gigabyte) I lose video from the inboard video card. I will be getting a PCI-e card (R7 sapphire) and will update if that fixes the problem, the other problem is the oem fan does a bad job of removing heat from the processor, fixed with a 12.00 dollar fan.
Summary: This CPU is great for any thing you want to do except maybe hardcore gaming. You can play HD movies off the hard drive. I play some older games off steam on my 42 inch tv. Bioshock 1 and 2 looked pretty good on it. I have a MSI motherboard and a single 4gb stick. 120gb ssd. 1 TB internal stoarge drive and a 4tb external. I use this pc for gaming, but mostly for a media center.
Summary: This is an awesome APU that I used for my friend's build! But beware of who you are buying it from. The person that I bought it from put NO PACKAGING MATERIAL AT ALL. It was just sliding around the small box the entire way here! Thank heavens that none of the pins were bent. Still. Really good APU.
Summary: I had reservations of using AMD over Intel, but I am very satisfied. I have not had any problems and it has handled everything I've thrown at it..... Using this in a homebuilt HTPC with 8 GB RAM.
Summary: I got this along with a ASUS F2A55-M/CSM - Socket FM2 AMD A55 Chipset MicroATX Motherboard for my grandsons gaming computer build. The project was completed without problems and he is very happy with the results. He does a lot of online gaming and the performance is great. The only negative comment he made was that the fan is too loud. May switch to liquid cooling later.
