If you are on a budget or just want to build a good HTPC get this processor
8 May 2014
Summary: I bought this processor for a budget gaming build and it is an awesome processor great performance and great overclocker. I have it Over clocked to 4.3ghz still on the stock cooler and it is very stable.
Summary: I got this thing a few months ago and I never messed aroud with its settings but I overclocked this from 3.6 to 4.1 and it run perfectly so if you get this and you are able to overclock it do it you wont regret.
Summary: The stock clocks with turbo disabled tested more than good enough for my HTPC build, so I concentrated on lowest energy use and heat. Stability testing was done with IntelBurnTest, 3DMark11 and Furmark. Post/boot tests showed that NB/GFX voltage could not go quite as low as they could in Windows, but the difference was minimal.
Summary: it was working just fine for the first few days but now its always at 40% or higher even if there are no programs running (i even closed all my background processes) i got rid of my overclock (that was setup by AI Suite II) and it runs a little better now but still very high usage. i was able to run skyrim before but now it freezes up and i have to restart the pc.its not overheating (in fact the computer case is cold to the touch on the opposite side of the APU.
