Summary: Selected this for a custom build for a computer for a music teacher. It is the dual-core version, but the program she uses favors clocks, not cores, so I slimmed the build costs by going dual instead of quad core.
Summary: Great budget processor, if not a tad underpowered. Has performed as expected; I knew I wasn't purchasing an i-core processor. Works great for everyday functions, and can even handle some light gaming.

Summary: i bought this product brand new because i think buying a cpu used is almost the dumbest thing ever... anyways i got it and the package looked like somebody threw it down the stairs so i was almost afraid that the cpu and heatsink would look similar.
Summary: Built a computer for my daughter with the A6-5400K, Asus A78-M-A MOBO. Easy build and very nice inexpensive system. Installed Windows 8. She does typical internet, word processing, etc. and the grand-kids do a few online games. More than meets their needs.
Summary: Got a good deal on this processor - I don't need cutting edge graphics, plus the built in GPU saved me money on my desktop upgrade. Had no issues with installation and it is running just fine. I don't overclock, so I can't comment on that aspect of the CPU.
Summary: I love this cheap CPU. I used it to upgrade an old single core and wow. Its actually faster than my gaming rig (phenom 2 1045 six core) at watching youtube videos. I tagged it with 6670 GPU and it seems to upgrade the video WIN EX numbers.

Summary: These are fast processors. My MSI motherboard OC Genie overclocked it to 4.1 GigHz. Built for my kids to play Minecraft. It works great. Can also game on medium settings with modern games such as MechWarrior online with no need for a Video Card.
