Summary: AMD's premier flag ship (and last) fm2 processor. Fast, sharp. Plays most games in 1080p on medium and high settings. Pair it with fast ram for best results. Easily overclocked, though it does get VERY HOT (I overlocked mine only to 4.3GHZ and it runs around 115'F). Definitely CANNOT use the stock fan that comes in the box. I have it paired with a sapphire radeon HD 7750 gpu. Notice a little 'hanging' when there's a lot going on on the screen.
Great Budget Gaming CPU - DOESNT SEEM LIKE A BUDGET CPU, BUY THIS.

Summary: This CPU is amazing. I bought the "customers also bought" motherboard and had a hard time getting them to work with each other. The GFX ability of this cpu is excellent. I had an Nvidia 9800gt and I just unplugged it and am using this now solo.
Good for budget builds. possibly consider an FX with cheap GPU

Summary: Good for budget builds where you are 100% for sure not going to be using a dedicated graphics / video card (GPU). You may want to consider getting an FX processor (more cores), and then a cheap graphics card. For me, this is working good enough for my work computer.
Summary: Major upgrade from an A4 5300 Trinity apu, which was locked except for the OC Genie with MSI mobo. Overclocked this right away to just under 4.9g without any issues whatsoever! Not reporting any heat or major wattage issues from CPU-Z (idle is only at 1.2-1.3 or so), and BIOS shows at idle its around 28c, but ramps up on the BIOS screen to 40c rather quickly for some reason Not a major concern, just seems wierd.
Summary: gaming this processor is a little beast, using the integrated graphics, I played Skyrim and it automatically set the graphics to high and plays perfect hooked to a Toshiba TV at 1080p. ive played dead island, fear 3, skyrim, dirt3, gta 4 and rage. played good across the board. everyday computer tasks are a breeze, rendering, picture viewing web browsing and video play back are fast. this apu does run a lil hot 45 Celsius at idle.
Summary: I really liked the idea of getting a processor that has decent video built in to the chip. On my older computers the video card seemed to be the part that failed the most, so a chip that has it built in seems to be the way to go, and since I’m not a heavy-duty gamer the video performance is more than adequate. Did you know that the boxed version comes with a fan for the processor?
Summary: Installation was very easy and instructions were clear and easy to follow. It has been operating flawlessly for over a month now, but since I upgraded the motherboard, memory to 8G, and the GUI, all at the same time, I can't attribute the improved system performance entirely to this APU. All I can say is that it appears to be operating very well, with absolutely no issues. I will say that the onboard Radeon HD 8670D is not all it's cracked up to be.
