Summary: my friend wanted to play skyrim without a graphics card. basically it wasn't in their budget and wanted the ability to upgrade to a nice graphics card later. I was blown away at the abilities of this little gem. definitely recommended... but as an AMD product, which from my knowledge tend to run a bit warmer than the competitors, make sure you have a decent case with good airflow or cooling.
Summary: It's not a giant upgrade from my previous A8-6500, but it's still enough that when coupled with another 8gb of RAM in my system (bringing my total to 16gb) that I can see a definite difference in speed when running games and other applications on my computer. It was really easy to install (thermal compound has to be bought separately so don't forget that!) For the price I'm really happy.
As good as an Intel i7-3770??? Maybe. For the $$$... Awesome value!

Summary: This CPU appears (to myself, a noob) to have the same specs as the i7-3770 I bought for another build last year. That being said, this is not as fast or smooth as that machine but there are far to many different variables between the two for honest and true comparison. This CPU handles what it needs to with relative ease and for the price I paid, its great.
Summary: Bought this for my mobile rig and couldn't be more happy with it. Great stock clock speed with intergraded graphics that are far more superior over Intel's HD graphics. I would recommend pairing it with 8 GBs or more of 1866MHz RAM and set the shared memory to 2GBs (average VRAM for dedicated cards) to get the most out of the graphics. One major thing to consider before buying this is the heat of processor.
Summary: I know an APU isn't exactly top of the line, but this thing is fast enough for what I do (internet, nintendo emulators) that it was absolutely worth what I paid. Want good performance with decent graphics at a minimal price? Get this chip and pair it with an A88 motherboard and some fast RAM.
Summary: This processor is a great one for the price. Would it compare to higher end i5's and i7's? Probably not. But more than likely if your going to buy one at this price, it's your first computer build anyway. In that case, it gets the job done. I can play any game on ultra as of now, such as Watch Dogs or Battlefield 3, Skyrim, and so on.
Summary: These were parts for my new home-built computer. The pricing and quick shipping made for an affordable, stress free home-build. Since the computer is working great I don't have any complaints.
