Summary: I got this on sale for $89.99. It was the first CPU I've ever replaced on my own. It was pretty easy. As I've read in other reviews, it does run rather hot but I've had it going for about 4 hours so far and it seems to be working fine.
Great option for solid all-around performance without spending too much

Summary: Great performance on a budget. I needed a new computer about 14 months ago and decided on an AMD APU build and I've been very happy with it. I run Windows 8.1 on the machine and have had nothing but superbly stable performance from this chip.
Summary: This is an older 2nd-generation (Trinity) APU with Radeon HD 7660D graphics, not the new 3rd-generation Kaveri chip with R7 graphics, so don't expect to run cutting-edge games unless you add a separate discrete GPU card. But it's an excellent price vs. performance choice for general computing.
Summary: Got this APU for my build as for the price to performance ration is great. The integrated graphics are better than their Intel counterparts. On that note the on-board graphics are not a replacement for a GPU by any means.
Summary: my friend wanted to play skyrim without a graphics card. basically it wasn't in their budget and wanted the ability to upgrade to a nice graphics card later. I was blown away at the abilities of this little gem. definitely recommended...
Summary: It's not a giant upgrade from my previous A8-6500, but it's still enough that when coupled with another 8gb of RAM in my system (bringing my total to 16gb) that I can see a definite difference in speed when running games and other applications on my computer.
