Caller ID phone

Phone user, Staples
10 November 2014
  • Excerpt: I really liked the look of the phone and all the features. However, I was very disappointed to discover that it required batteries to operate the caller ID. We are very conscientious about the environment and try to use things that do not require batteries.

  • Summary: The only problem I found with this phone is the CID display doesn't light up. You can't see who is calling without turning on the light & in my case, putting on my glasses. (this is an inconvenience if you are in bed at night. I like the ringing options & the big buttons.

As advertised - - - - BUT

John, TigerDirect.com
8 October 2012
  • Summary: It was not advertised as a battery-powered phone, but it basically is. And that is why the caller ID display is not backlit and is very difficult for anyone to read. Otherwise, the phone does everything it is advertised to do at a fair price. With a backlit display, this would be a killer phone.
