Great Quality Phone
10 July 2009
Summary: This is the perfect home office phone. I am on 4 hours of conference calls a day and the speakerphone quality is in one word awesome. I have had many people tell me that they can not even tell I am on a speakerphone. It has all of the basic needs of a two line phone and the conferencing ability is a snap to use. I wish more products were made with this level of quality. Bravo Polycom!
Summary: The sound quality of this phone is outstanding; better than anything else I've tried. It's not really intended for general household use, but it's absolutely perfect for a home office. If you use a speakerphone on a regular basis, you'll notice the difference right away; no other product even comes close. Highly recommended! NOTE: You can program speed dial codes into the phone, but the phone has no programmable buttons for "one-touch speed-dialing.
Summary: The phone was very easy to install, pretty much plug in and working. I needed it for the many conferance calls I make from my home office so it has been perfect. The speaker sound quality is as good as the full blown Polycom systems I have used in our conferance rooms at work. If you need a good speaker phone this is the best I have ever used, well worth the $$.
Summary: The phone is in my home office and I can't be more pleased. The sound quality is amazing. I know I paid more than I wanted to but I was looking for an phone that would be easlily heard on speaker and would have excellent sound quality. I have used polycom phones before, and I knew the product would be reliable. So I am extremely pleased with my purchase.
Summary: The phone main speaker generates a constant hissing sound which you don't hear in a noisy environment, but as soon as you are in a quite room, it becomes very annoying very fast. The hissing sound is present even if you unplug the phone lines. I complaint to Polycom and they sent me a new power supply which did not solve the problem. They have now offered to send me a new phone, but I have to pay for the shipping cost.
Summary: All round pretty good. Speaker phone is quality, as is mic pick-up quality. Only issue we've seen is that sometimes if we switch between headset and speaker, the voice/mic no longer picks up our voice and we need to unplug and restart the phone to get it to work again. We have 3 of these phones and it only has happened on one of them.
