Summary: Wanted a simple corded phone with integrated answering machine. Thought this would fit the bill. This phone has only lasted just over 6 months. Now the answer machine sounds all garbled and the lED panel digits are starting to fade out. The phone also requires a "brick" which we find most inconvenient In summary, the phone worked OK for awhile, then the durability started to suffer. I would not buy this phone again.
Cons: Did not meet expectations, Poor quality, durability, led display is slowly fading
Summary: Attractive phone with a unique ring tone. One of the best things is that the unit will always ring four (4) times before answering. It gives you time to see who is calling and decide whether or not you want to answer. Our old unit would only ring twice after the first message had been left on the phone. Also, you don't have to hear the out going message every time the machine picks up a call.
Summary: Also, you can't disable caller ID/call waiting, which mutes the phone when it *thinks* it hears a CID-CW tone, but I don't have call waiting and it simply mutes loud conversations. Annoying. If I wanted gaps in the call I'd use a cell phone.
Pros: The basics are all here. The handset, tone pad, and headset jack are all good. The answering machine's okay. The speakerphone's okay. It's basically what a desk phone/answering machine should be.
Cons: The display started failing after a few years. The "-W" white version gets bad reviews for this reason; the -"B" black one is the same except the case color.
Summary: This phone is particularly good for its price. I rectified the short handset cord by purchasing a longer one, but cannot rectify the poor Caller ID window. Besides the window being too small, it is also too dark (at the brightest setting). I also have a problem with the person I call hearing me on speaker. You literally have to be on top of the unit to be heard. The speaker should be relocated to the handset and not the base unit of the phone.
Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable Handset, Durable, Good Sound Quality, Nice Features
Cons: Poor Caller Id Read Area, Poor Speakerphone, Too Short Handset Cord
