Summary: Ordered 4 phones and had to replace one for very poor speaker phone quality. Occasionally, the sound will deteriorate, even when not on speaker feature, for a bit and then resumes. The weakest part of this phone is speaker feature.
Summary: Bought 2 ks-ts4200b 4 line phones in Nov 2010. Speaker went bad in Feb 2011. Panasonic returned a "refurbished" phone in which the speaker also became defective June 2011. Panasonic returned another "refurbished phone". The speaker on that phone died in August 2011. Returned that phone after waiting six weeks for a return label. Panasonic responded with a bill for $85.00 if I wanted the phone fixed!!
Pros: Most functions work ok
Cons: Bad speaker phone, Not Durable, Poor service, Poor Sound Quality
Summary: Compared phones and decided on this telephone for my business. The setup was simple.Sounds great and has all the featues we needed.I was having eco problems with my older phones after we switched to voip and have no echo issues so far, using them for less than one month. They have an attractive design and intuitive setup.JR had the best price at the time of purchase.
Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable Handset, Durable, Good Sound Quality, Nice Features
Summary: We have been very happy with this system for our 2 room home office. Switching to VOIP has shown significant savings which will counter the higher price of this phone. Very easy to learn. Sound quality as good as Merlin system we switched from. VOIP has made us more flexible routing calls to handhelds and digital voice messaging sent via email is an awesome new tool for us. Hardest part was getting Cablevision out for their part of the set-up!
