Summary: Fast delivery, no problems. Nice and easy to set up. Answerphone very easy to set up and use. Big numbers, no miss-dialling. Really good volume, great to use as an office speaker phone. I have not used all the features of the phone yet, eg Quick dial, but the instruction book is very clear if I want to. Occasionally we get a nasty tone/distortion on the line and have to redial, not sure if its the line or the phone.
Summary: Not made clear in advertisement that ansafone & viewing panel only operational when phone plugged in (Cable provided) to electrical socket next to landline socket. In my case, phone bought for this very purpose, but no electric socket near landline socket in my house. Would have chosen different phone otherwise! The 'loudness' options very acceptable however.
Summary: I wanted an ordinary telephone with answering machine - had an expensive digital with non-corded receiver but had difficulty hearing voices at top setting. Can hear on this. I don't understand why it's thought large numbers on keys are necessary, as surely most people who wear glasses put them on to look up a number.
Summary: I have no hearing problems, I got it purely because of the manual switch for the ringer. All the others I've seen have a digital setting which is lost if there's a power cut even for a few seconds, then if someone misdials in the middle of the night it wakes the neighbourhood as it's often on high by default. However the volume control, tone control and the headphone socket are a pleasant bonus anyway and well worth the extra cost.
Summary: We have only just started to use this phone so my comments are not based on long experience. It is a replacement for one the same make without an answering machine that I have used for several years and liked very much. So far it has been easy to use and very clear. My only complaint is the big buttons. I am hard of hearing only and don't need these and I was not able to find a 'normal' looking version which would have been more discreet.
Summary: It is taking me a wee while to manage all the buttons etc. But , so far so GOOD. It is as loud as I hoped and I am looking forward to conquering the rest of the buttons and switches. My friends are impressed that they don't have to shout now.
Summary: Being a member of the older generation it came as no surprise to discover one day that my hearing was not as good as it used to be, which needless to say made using a telephone a bit of a problem. Fortunately for me whilst visiting a friend recently ,he showed me his new phone the Clearsound C1210 which being so loud, and clear was just what I needeed.I immediately went on line and purchased one from Amazon.
