Summary: My mom is 87 and has macular degeneration, so she really needed a phone easier to use. This is perfect. I even like the big numbers. And the RING.. it is a pleasant, not-so-harsh ring as most phones. I think I will buy another one soon. It is GREAT.
Summary: I got this phone for my 98 year old mother. It's so loud she never misses calls any more. The light flashes on top when a call comes in, and the receiver has a volume booster on it too. She had no problem adjusting to the new phone, but it does take up a fair bit of space on the table.
Downside is that the plastic sheet covering the buttons is flimsy and could come off easily - ok so far as I know right now

Summary: Bought for mother-in-law in nursing home. Resolves the hard of hearing issue for the most part. Downside is that the plastic sheet covering the buttons is flimsy and could come off easily - ok so far as I know right now. I programmed the phone numbers easily.
Summary: This phone is a good choice for seniors. The programmable picture-buttons are a godsend, enabling our blind, technology-averse senior to maintain regular contact with her family and friends. The amplified audio is also helpful.
Summary: I picked this phone for the auto-dial capabilities and the enhanced hearing feature. The recipient can call favorite family numbers without any trouble now, thanks to the auto-dial feature; I just wrote our names instead of using pictures.
