Excerpt: Considering that it only cost me £6.99, this landline telephone is very good. It is just a very basic phone and it has no faults as such. It is not shoddily made, it is easy and simple enough to use and it simply does the job.
Summary: I bought this telephone on behalf of an elderly neighbour who needed a basic telephone with no flashy 'gizmos'. The plus points- As a table telephone is is fine- the buttons are clear and there's a good volume from the ringer and the speech. There are 3 programmable buttons which are useful for regularly used numbers. The handset rest has a reversable support for use when the phone is wall-mounted, which stops the handset falling off the rest.
Summary: Bought the phone as I needed to replace my landline phone. It is lightweight but that wasn't a problem. The ringtone is good but the sound quality was not. There was a constant buzzing both on my end and the caller's (and when I made a phone call) which made the call difficult to hear. I ended up going out to a local shop and spending more to get one that worked well.
Summary: As supplied is only suitable for desk use. The Tesco variant (same number) is billed as desk/wall mounting but was out of stock. Beware, as warning leaflet with phone, that the line chord supplied is cross wired and must be used, but was shorter than my existing standard BT line connection chord.
Summary: Nice basic phone, unfortunately wall hang did present problems that were easy to remedy. Good value as BT similar product is nearly double the price. Delivery was well within the projected date, Piere.
Summary: This phone is advertised with a speakerphone but simply doesn't have one. Had I read the other reviews before purchasing (and not simply trusted the seller's description) I wouldn't have been ripped off. I now have to waste time trying to get this returned and refunded. Not impressed.
