Excerpt: Purchased the Epson printer this week and so far so good. Have one question however. There is reference to the memory card for several functions. A memory card was not included and there is no help on "paper" explaining what to do or how. I am not that tech savy and need all the help I can get from manuals and quick set up directions. It was very easy to set up initially and I am pleasantly surprised at the speed and clearness when printing.
Excerpt: Tested the photo printer as the photo resolutions were very important....Photo quality is excellent. ...I used HD premium photo paper semi gloss for testing and the photos are 10+....Scanner , copier good quality.....Not much use for the fax machine but I will have need sometime.....My primary reason for purchasing the printer Photo Quality..
Excerpt: Found the Epson XP-810 to be a very easy product to set up - a key factor for us non-techie types. Its size is "just right" compared to other products available. While not operating long enough to be sure, the Consumer Reports rating of efficient ink use was a major driver for the purchase. I hope that it proves true. My previous printer was terrible with ink efficiency.
Excerpt: I bought this printer for a little different purpose than most: to take on the road with me. While it is bulkier than printers truly made for the road, it's about half of the price of "portable" printers - and packs several features that I'd not found in smaller, lighter models. Wireless access is simple using the direct connection or a router function.
Excerpt: Plain and simple, you will not be happy. I have a small tech support business and I've been doing this for 14 years. All I can say is avoid it. I gave Epson a chance to redeem themselves and all I got was more problems and unsatisfactory results. I've been looking for a budget Photo printer to replace an old 2004 HP (which is still going strong but wanted some of the new features offered) .
Excerpt: Older HP-- laser & photo smart ink jet printers finally gave up. Decided to try this Epson and am very pleased. Plugged it in and it ran perfect. Faster printing than expected. Too early to know how ink supply will do compared to HP- Photosmart that died (it was great).
