Summary: Had one for over 10 years, but gave it away when we got a HP eprinter which does everything very well EXCEPT conserve ink. So I bought a new Canon personal copier for all the b/w copies of documents which i need to make. (in 6 months of use have already invested in $140 worth of HP ink) Canon cartridge @ about $120 lasts over a year. Will save the HP for pictures and use the Canon for most of the rest.
Summary: I've had this for 8 months now. It's met my every expectation. The best is that it's instant on. Perfect for making a quick copy from a book, or a business form/receipt you need a copy of. The two modes (newpaper/dirty background and regular) work fine for me. It's saved me loads of time doing tiny copy jobs at my nearby FedEx Office. I have a lot of those little copy jobs......and it's work the extra convenience to have the copier at home.
Excerpt: This replaced a previous version by canon of this which I had. The old one was a work horse for many years. It is very basic and great for a situation where you just need a hanful of copies any given day.
