Summary: I was so happy to see this machine on your site. For the last 10 years or so I have used D class Cannon copiers. They are the best. This is my favorite model. This arrived in a flimsy box. It was all beat up packaging at delivery. A few flimsy sheets of bubble wrap were protecting nothing.
Summary: Very difficult to figure out how to use this all-in-one's functions. The only things clearly explained in the manual are obvious things, such as how to load paper in a paper tray or how/when to press the start button.
Summary: This Canon imageCLASS D480 Laser All-in-One Printer is an excellent product. I use it a lot since I have it. 1 cartridge system save me a lot of toner and money. I used to buy toner cartridges every month for my office with my brother laser printer.
Summary: The hardware itself is very good, has good built quality and features but is not 100% compatible with Windows 8. There were no printer drivers available for Win8 until late October and to date still no scanning software available. Two gripes though: 1.
Summary: Pluses: It's as quick as you want, and quiet. The duplexer works well, and you can scan and copy in duplex mode too (neat). Toner's cheap. Minuses: If you want to use paper with pre-printed letterhead, be warned: the when printing one-sided sheets, you have to stick it in one way, when printing...
Summary: OK, first off I'm a very busy IT professional so for me to take time out of my busy day and write this goes how frustrated I am with this printer. First off, Canon is a big name, no? So for them have such a bad printer really surprises me. Yes, like others have said, the software is just a joke.
Summary: It is OK but not wonderful. I could not operate my separate Canon 8800F scanner after the All in one was connected to my Apple system. Canon said that the only way my Canon scanner can work is to switch off the All in one.
Summary: Great printer for the price, especially considering the duplexing ADF. I purchased the printer mainly to serve as a network printer, copier, and fax - network scanning was not a priority for me - and I am satisfied with the printer performance so far.
Summary: I purchased this laser multifunction printer (Canon ImageClass D480) because my old cheapo laser had no Windows 7 drivers and this printer was on sale. I wanted a direct network connection so I wouldn't have to dedicate a PC as a print server.
