"New Cooktop"

sgordon1018, Sears Outlet

  • Summary: I have had several issues with repair services for other appliances purchased with Sears two years ago but despite that purchased a new electric cooktop from them. I like this cooktops simple design, easy installation and reasonable price. Let's just hope nothing goes wrong with it.

"Incredibly Poor Performance"

Sullivan1969, Sears Outlet
19 November 2015
  • Summary: There is no consistency in temperature. The main burner will fluctuate between barely keeping food warm to burning food beyond belief without touching the ****. Other burners are so small that they are almost useless and they, too, will fail to maintain a consistent temperature.

  • Summary: Pros: Easy Installation, looks beautiful, cooks fine. Cons: Cleaning, surface blemishes I've had this unit in service for about 3 weeks now. First thing I had to do after the first use was purchase a bunch of different cleaners / sponges / microfiber towels, etc.

"new cooktop is the star of the kitchen!"

pphelan, Sears Outlet

  • Summary: The electric glass cooktop was a Christmas gift for my mother who has a very small galley kitchen. She said that it actually makes her kitchen look larger and she LOVES cooking on it. The cleanup is so simple - with just a swipe or two of a cloth, it sparkles.

"Wish I could choose again"

momofdcn, Sears Outlet
6 April 2014
  • Summary: Looks good but does not make for happy cooking. Burners are spaced oddly and I have to be very deliberate about which **** corresponds to which burner. The biggest issue I have with using this cooktop is that there is no consistency with temperature between burners.

"Its Fading"

MADKing, Sears Outlet
13 January 2014
  • Summary: I bought this cooktop in February 2013 and shortly after using the color faded around the hot plates. The cooktop is not used very often and I maintain it pretty good not using any chemicals to clean, but it is fading under the surface.

  • Summary: Heats up quickly. The glass top is so much easier to clean than the standard coil cooktop/range, and it looks fantastic on my new black granite counter-top. Love it!
