not as powful as similar products

Bonnie, Amazon
27 January 2011
  • Summary: i would recommend you to get induction cooktop from a store where you can return your product if you are not 100% satisfied. This one is not as powful as those from Japan and Taiwan of the same walts and will give you a lot of hassel to return. I won't recommend it.

  • Summary: This is a very hand cooktop and works beautifully! Just be sure you have induction cookware (cast iron skillets & dutch ovens work fine) because aluminum cookware will not work.

Sunpentown SR-1881S Induction Cooktop

dixie, Amazon
6 September 2010
  • Summary: We have used commercial single burner cook tops in our coffee shop for about 8 years. In that time we have had them go bad about every two years. We gave up on them and used a $10 home single burner to tie us over until we could get a more dependable cook top.

Great induction cooktop

Gary W. Mclaughlin "sacgwm", Amazon
28 August 2010
  • Summary: I bought this based on several other reviews and just think it is great. Not fancy, but does a great job. I use it daily and it makes a great replacement for a regular electric cooktop. I chose it based on price and features and have not found it wanting.

Sunpentown Induction Cooktop

Joan Dekret "fauxarteest", Amazon
30 January 2010
  • Summary: I bought this cooktop because I am thinking of buying a whole range that is just induction. It works great. The fan noise that some people complained about is less than the fan noise that my microwave makes.
