Summary: Great at boiling but won't simmer and burns grits on the bottom of the pan at the lowest setting. Somehow got chipped at the edge maybe a 3mm chip out of the edge and then subsequently cracked diagonally starting at the chip and had to be replaced at the cost of $600 finally reduced to $400. Had not used it more than eight times.
Summary: Got a allegro bus 2013 new have this stove stop for 4 months and it does not work on one side the other side works some times. Burns food on 2 settings but it can boil water if that is what you want. Very disappointed in Tiffin Motorhome for this product should of checked it out more.
Summary: I needed a small space cooktop and wanted this unique technology too. It is very nice looking works well with proper cookware. Only complaint is that I had to have an electrician install a on/off power switch as being magnetic it "hums" when on and it bugged the crap out of me.
Summary: So, I've used the cooktop a few times now and have found it to be too hot. I've got to research the problem a bit, to make sure I'm not doing something wrong, but even on the lowest temperature food burns almost instantly. Boiling water takes no time, which is great...but I need to do more than boil water.
Summary: I purchased the SINC2220 induction cooktop believing it to be a very good value. It was not, and the old addage "if it seems to be too good to be true it probably is" applies here. While it can boil water very quickly as one would expect of an induction cooktop, it only had 8 cooking ranges instead of the advertised 10 and the lowest temperature it is capable of is 195 degrees F instead of the 140 degrees F advertised.
