Summary: Corrioson all around burner area after about a 1 year of using this.. I guess its not real stainless steel and some kind of coating or cheap stainless steel which is causing the corrision.. I'm stuck with this for sometime, but definitely will be buying some other brand.
Summary: We purchased this cooktop from Amazon in January of 2014 and installed it as part of a kitchen remodel in mid-February so have been using it for about a month so far. It is located on a island and we replaced an older Jenn-Air gas cooktop that had begun to malfunction. We were a bit hesitant due to some earlier reviews that indicated the grates were not level causing pots to wobble on the cooktop but we have had no issues like that.
Summary: I wanted a nice looking, powerful and reasonable priced cooktop and this product meet all my requirements. It's power burner heats anything quickly. The grates are very nice, they allow you to slide your pots around.
Summary: Do not buy this product! I recently purchased this cooktop and I'm sorry that I did. First, the cooking grates are not level and untrue. When you place a pot or pan on the cooking grate, it wobbles because the grates are not level. I can't tell you how annoying this is. Second, have you ever bent over to look at the fire underneath a pot to check the flame? Well, on this cooktop you can't do that.
Summary: I have had this stovetop for about a year now, and it works great. I specifically wanted one with both a high-heat burner and a simmer burner, and this has both plus two regular ones. The burner sides are difficult to keep clean due to their rough surface, but I suppose that is unavoidable.
Summary: A great cooktop. The cooktop looks great and performs wonderfully. So much easier to clean than the one that came with the home by the builder. A great upgrade at a very reasonable price for the quality.
Summary: Get an extra set of rubber feet, one of mine is falling apart after a year but still works fine. But I'm getting an extra set if I'm going to keep this unit for the next 10 years. Also, surface scratches very easy, its a nice surface, but I guess I wasn't careful enough but I know I wasn't careless, doesn't look awful, but just be careful, especially around the sides where the grate doesn't protect.
