Summary: I spent more time than I should researching a cooktop for a kitchen remodel last year. Induction vs. regular, GE vs. Frigidaire, 30 vs 36, bridge unit or not, size of each element, etc. I chose this one b/c I wanted a bridge to more easily make pancakes, hamburgers, etc.
Summary: The good: Stylish unit, induction and non-induction cooking both work fine, glass section seems to wear well (no scratches yet), made in Canada (not China)! Not so good: Stainless steel sections scratch very easily . . . beware when cleaning!
Summary: Stove-top arrived in a few days, was in great condition, and easy to install. The hybrid setup is terrific. The 2 inductions elements work great, nice even heat and fast start. No waiting for the element to warm up.
Summary: I did alot of investigating before I bought this cooktop. I was not too familiar with induction cooking and wasn't sure I would like it. One nice thing about this cooktop is that two of the burners are induction and two are radiant heat.I like this design because it allows versitilty in my cooking...
Summary: I have been very happy with this cook top. I was worried since I had never used an induction range before, but it has the advantage of gas; it adjusts instantly to adjustments in temperature. In addition, the induction burners bring water to a boil much faster than gas.
Summary: This is my first experience with induction cooking elements, and they have exceeded my expectations. All the elements work beautifully, the cooktop is easy to clean, and the stainless steel accents are a handsome complement to my other appliances.
