Summary: Used this cooktop for 5 years before we sold the house. Cooked a lot of big pots of gumbo etc. cleaned up many spills. It did scratch easily but developed a patina after being carefully cleaned over time. It sold the house! I loved it and so did my husband.
Summary: I have one of these that I can't wait to get rid of. It looked very nice, and I like that it has a very shallow depth-- We have a drawer underneath. The center burner was OK, but the rest seem be slow to heat. (the flame sensor broke so we can't use it because of the constant sparking) All the burners have a flame pattern that creeps up around the side of the pan or pot (size doesn't matter) It superheats the sides so foods burn to the side of the pan or promotes a rapid...
Summary: I sent this, with no resolution, but am reopening the case. I purchased a GC901M gas cooktop. The style and functionality seemingly fit my needs well. However, soon after installing the unit I noticed that the unit does not operate as promised, and has numerous design flaws (see below). Overall, I am dissatisfied with this unit. I would like you to replace it with an updated and hopefully better engineered unit.
Summary: GReat middle burner with high BTU. I can finally do wok cooking! Overall rating is 4 star...would be 5 star if the frame didn't scratch so easily. Grates moved when sliding pans around and scratched the frame. Just be extra careful. Once scratched, it's very obvious. Suggestion is to switch the burner on the right by putting the bigger burner in the front. I like to simmer with pots in the back and out of the way.
