Summary: DO NOT BUY! I have owned this cooktop for 3 years. There is a serious design flaw. If you cook on the front burners the flame will melt the knobs. I have contacted Electrolux and they "offered" new knobs "at a 10% discount". They told me to cook with large pans only on the back burners.
Summary: Skip this one! I have owned this cooktop for 3 years. It has a serious design flaw. Cooking on the front 2 burners will melt the control knobs. I contacted Electrolux for replacements knobs and was told to cook on the back burners. They "offered" a 10% discount for me to buy new knobs.
Summary: "We grew up using gas cooktops, but when we purchased our new home the previous owner had installed an electric cooktop. After researching many different models and brands we selected the Electrolux 30" Gas Cooktop.
Summary: I purchased this item in Nov., 2008. Since the beginning I knew it was not a smart inversion. The 18,000 BTU igniter takes way too long to ignite, thus filling the air with gas, and being a potential explosion on the way. As soon as the 1 year warranty was over, the burners started to disintegrate.
Summary: "This cooktop is one of the best ones I've ever used in my entire life!!! The grates that come with the cooktop spans throughout the whole item and it's also dishwasher safe so it makes cleaning super easy. The stainless steel color adds a nice touch."
