Summary: This cooktop has a nice layout with decent grids and no ergonometric design problems. With a 14k, two 12.5k, and two 8k burners, it has a nice range of heat as well, although it would be nice to have even more than the 14k of course.
Excerpt: When spending a lot for a high end Dacor appliance, would you expect it to last more than 10 years? We thought so. Imagine our surprise when we accidently broke the piece of glass behind the controls of our cooktop, and called Dacor, only to find out 10 years is the expected life, and that...
Pros: Nice features including very stable cooking surface and lots of BTU's.
Cons: Service: What's the difference between "ignorance" and "apathy"? - Don't know and don't care.
Excerpt: We have written to Dacor ..up to the President..they admit the stovetop rusts..they tell us it was not stainless but brushed something else..and they know it rusts..solution for them is to have us buy a new stovetop for $800.oo
Pros: Looked good to start
Cons: No service even when they know they are at fault
