Bad Purchase

Lizzy, AJ Madison
12 June 2009
  • Summary: My cooktop was installed and I began using it Jan 22. At the end of April the two left burners quit working. I called Bosch and they referred me to a Bosch Appliance repair service. The repairman came out, looked at the cooktop then consulted Bosch. The Bosch tech support recommended to the repairman the part that should be ordered to fix the problem. The part was ordered (was on back order and took two and half weeks to arrive).

Only 3 5/8 clearance under

jabster, AJ Madison
22 November 2008
  • Summary: Actually, a 30" clearance is required OVER the unit, which I hope anyone installing any type of cooktop can handle. The clearance below the cooktop is only 3 and 5/8". One thing I like about this cooktop is the smaller cutout size necessary. We replaced an old Jenn-Air electric cooktop, and the cutout in our granite is only 34 3/4" by 20", so many cooktops are too large. This one fits great.
