Good ram bad price now.

Anonymous, Newegg
12 June 2014
  • Pros: It works well in my friend's machine
  • Cons: I don't really need to belabor the insane unjustified pricing of ram in the last year or so, but it's outrageous and a ripoff. Good thing I bought tons of this over a year ago when it was a third the price, there's no good justification for this when desktops are still being used as much as they ...

Solid Ram

Maksim R., Newegg
4 May 2013
  • Summary: I used this on a amd build, the fact that its marketed for intel seems like pure marketing giberish to me, don't worry about that.
  • Pros: - recognized right away - working well 3 plus years - delivers its performance
  • Cons: none

Well, it USED to work...

Gage H., Newegg
23 April 2013
  • Summary: Was amazing for the two years that it worked, but then it died without giving an error or anything. My mobo didn't beep thanks to the errors or anything.
  • Pros: It worked amazingly for 2 years. Easy to overclock (however I did not [I don't trust myself])
  • Cons: It should last more than 2 years... I think. Didn't even just die all of a sudden, I just slowly kept getting the error "0xc0000005" in my games.

Faulty RAM

Toupao X., Newegg
16 April 2013
  • Summary: First time trying Patriot ram. Does not make me feel confident about trying them again. Just ordered a pair of 4gb gskill. I will trying RMA with Patriot to see how it goes.
  • Pros: One module worked.
  • Cons: Only one moduled work, while one module was bad right out of the package. Causing computer to beep, then random freezes prior to BIOS coming up. When computer does come up windows would show 4gb as usable and 4gb as hardware reserve. This problem had me searching the internet for two days. Finall...

I've never been more disappointed...

Mark R., Newegg
6 April 2013
  • Summary: Do not buy. You'll thank me
  • Pros: Works? ish...
  • Cons: This memory is such trash that if you try to run more than one program at a time, they all crash. Memory errors ensue. I obviously should have payed a little more for something a little nicer.

VERY FAST RAM!

ROY T., Newegg
22 March 2013
  • Pros: Very affordable ram. Paired with a i5 3570k and I get a 7.9 rating on Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit. Runs everything pretty fast. I also like the design that it has.
  • Cons: Ram is not supported by my suxy motherboard (asrock z75 pro 3) but I manage to get it working. Doesn't count for an egg though!
