Worked as Expected

Slice 'n' Dyce, Amazon
17 February 2014
  • Summary: What can I say? I've come to trust the Kingston brand when it comes to RAM, so when building a new PC, this choice was easy. The stuff arrived in 7 days. No muss, no fuss! As this was a new setup and not a RAM upgrade, I can't compare the before and after. But I had not problems installing and using this RAM.

Worked great in my Dell XPS 8700

DC, Amazon
26 January 2014
  • Summary: I had a hard time finding RAM for the cheap Dell XPS 8700 tower. (Lesson #1, don't buy from Dell :) So I first went with a spendy Corsair RAM that worked, but unfortunately ran @ lower 1330 Mhz clock speed. The trick it turns out is to buy RAM with the certain supported latency. For my XPS 8700 it was CL-11. (Found through online search.) That was the reason why I bought this RAM.

Works as advertised

Charles, Amazon
13 January 2014
  • Summary: Not really a lot to say, its RAM, at time of writing, I am using a single DIMM for gaming alongside a 770 and an i5, it works great, even in single channel. I will be buying another SAP for dual channel.

It worked just great, and was a breeze to install

Dragon "Dragon", Amazon
12 December 2013
  • Summary: It worked just great, and was a breeze to install, except I did not know that even though my XPS8500 will take up to 32 GB of RAM in 4 DIMMS, Windows 7 Home Premium will only support up to 16 GB, and I already have 2 4 GB sticks in the tower. All it would recognize was 16 GB, so I sent them back, and now I have ordered exactly the same thing, in 2 4 GB Kingston sticks.

Huge performance gain - great upgrade

W. J. Cornelius, Amazon
4 December 2013
  • Summary: I purchased this RAM because it was the 8 GB counterpart to the 4 GB module I already have installed. The increase in performance I received is absolutely remarkable. This is easily one of the best computer upgrade investments I have ever made. This bumped me up to 12 GB of RAM. I plan on replacing my existing 4 GB module with another one of these. Worth every penny.

Great RAM

raschwartzy, Amazon
13 November 2013
  • Summary: What is great about this RAM is it gives you a blazing middle speed of 1600 MHz everything in memory runs crisp. It does not have heatsinks true but if your not overclocking it is not necessary. This RAM is efficient. The RAM comes with a limited lifetime warrenty. If it fails you just file a claim and get it replaced. Everything runs smooth crisp and clean. I honestly think Kingston is the the best company you can buy RAM from.
