Great quality for the price

  • Summary: It is best to check your laptop capacity to see if this is the right model number for you. I have Asus 4GB and I needed to upgrade to a better GB. I checked what model number in on my laptop to see if I can use this and found I could upgrade to 8GB and glad I am so glad did, this Kingston 8GB 1600MHz DDR3L replaced the 4GB in my Asus laptop and now it is faster load time and steaming Netflix movies is smooth with no buffering or errors.

Works well on Lenovo Ideapad Yoga 13

WindyCityScope, Amazon
22 January 2015
  • Summary: One of my Lenovo Ideapad Yoga 13 was consistently giving the Win 8.1 BSD on every startup/ resume cycle. The accompanying error msg was PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA. It was traced to be a failing memory issue. Looking for a replacement, I found this DDR3L stick. Note that the 3L denotes 1.35V and the lower power rating allows for better battery life. Replacing was a snap (literally!). Enough tutorials/ youTube available based on the notebook model.

  • Summary: I bought this item to take my Dell Inspiron AIO from 4GB to 8GB, and it has worked flawlessly! Was a bit of a pain to install, but that was due to my computer layout, not the card.

Good Memory (but better to investigate solid state hard drives)

amazon customer, Amazon
12 January 2015
  • Summary: It works, I like it, It is really hard to tell the difference. My laptop was always so slow about things I thought more memory would help. I had 4Gb, and now have 12Gb, but couldn't tell any difference. Then I got an SSD hard drive, and now everything flies. My point, getting more memory can't be a bad thing, and memory prices are good now days, but getting an SSD (solid state) hard drive is like night and day.

  • Summary: Installed it within 5 minutes while coupled to a anti-ESD band I bought along with it. It was about time that I upgraded my RAM and now I'm up from 6GB to 12GB. Excellent buy in my opinion. No manufacturing flaws + Noticeably faster laptop = 5 stars.

A good ssd.

Michael W Sande, Amazon
18 December 2014
  • Summary: This mSata install on the 2n attempt very quickly. It is a bit sensitive about 3.0 usb ports if your cloning with a enclosure kit. However, if the first cloning doesn't go try again and it probably will. A good ssd.

ACER 510 Laptop much faster with 8GB than standard 4GB

Dr. Rogers, Amazon
17 December 2014
  • Summary: Needed this in an ACER 510 laptop. The laptop only has a single memory slot, so to upgrade from Std. 4 GB to 8 GB requires replacement of the 4 with an 8. Using this memory, the upgrade was easy. Loosen one screw, lift up the plastic, expose the memory slot, unclick the SODIMM holders on each side, remove the 4 GB, insert the 8 GB, press the cover back on the laptop tighten the screw, turn it over, and voila, it boots perfectly, now with 8 GB, and it's MUCH faster.
