Installed on my 2008 20-inch iMac and it worked like a charm

Summary: Installed on my 2008 20-inch iMac and it worked like a charm! Computer's definitely much faster and responsive now. P.S. even though Apple lists the max RAM for these iMacs as being 4GB, they can handle up to 6GB. Just make sure you have the 4GB chip in the RIGHT-HAND slot. Otherwise the iMac doesn't seem to recognize it. (I had to swap slots once before it worked.
Excerpt: Worked perfectly in a Mac 24" mid 2007. Just plug in and use. Crucial had proved once more the quality I expected.I tested memory from others manufactures and some of them didn't worked. Be careful to check the specifications of your Mac. This memory is DDR2.
Summary: Its Crucial , I don't need to say much more than that . To be fare I upgraded my net book from 1gb of memory to 4gb of memory and changed to a solid-state hard drive and my netbook now way faster than before . I am only using 1.6 atom processor . This thing acts like it on steroids , even facebook can't slow it down . AND THIS MACHINE IS STILL RUNNING WINDOWS XP and it can boot up in like 11 seconds !
Summary: We upgraded our early 2008 iMac to 4Gig but starting having performance problems with Mountain Lion and extreme slow downs after upgrading to Mavericks. Though it didn't appear to be a memory issue (limited swaps), we decided to go from 4 Gig to 6 Gig by swapping out one memory chip and it solved our problem. iMac runs almost like new.
