Corsair Vengence! Need I say more?!
16 June 2014
Summary: Ok, I am a Patriot Bigot and I have to say I was very impressed with these RAMs. They worked as designed and paired with the MIS board, I can tweak and control these babies as advertised. I don't like to over clock or tweak the hardware very much, but made an exception for the RAMs. The on complaint I have is the RAM coolers were little too tall for the CPU cooler I used, so instead of running 16GB, I settled for 8GB.
Summary: I got two of these, one for myself and for my wife's system. I got these to go along with the blue theme from the Gigabyte MB. Goes well and performs flawlessly. I will be purchasing another two in the near future to bring both of our systems up to 16Gb. I definitely recommend this product.
Summary: If you get the Corsair Vengeance RAM sticks be advised: You're gonna need a bigger case! I originally purchased a mini-tower and thought everything would fit. Once I installed the mobo and set the RAM I suddenly found myself unable to install my HDDs, because the RAM is too tall the HDDs were too long to fit properly. So if you go with a small case then get small RAM sticks, like Kingston; if you want these babies, which is overkill in a sense, get a "gaming" case!
Summary: Finally finished piecing together my new PC and gave it some time to test it out.
