Summary: There's not much you can say about ram other than it works or it doesn't work. This one works. It makes things go smoother and faster than before. Corsair has always seen me right with things like RAM and this is no exception.
Summary: If using the "Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO CPU Cooler" and CORSAIR Vengeance 16GB (2 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model CMZ16GX3M2A1600C10R" beware that the RAM's tall cooling fins will conflict with the EVO's fan. Not a big deal though.
Pros: Seem fast and reliable. Snappy paint job, especially if your MoBo has red pieces-parts.
Cons: Cooling fins are a bit too tall and cause undesired physical contact with some CPU cooling solutions/MoBo RAM slot layouts (Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO for example).
Summary: They perform just as advertised; however, there are better deals if you're looking to upgrade. The Vengeance Pro series is with the extra dollar or two. The big setback these RAM sticks have are the 1600 MHz clock speed.
Pros: I have put these Ram sticks in 6 Builds now; from Engineer's computers at work to Gaming rigs for friends and even my own desktop. Cheap Reliable memory never runs hot no sticks have failed yet. What more can I say?
Cons: Currently it's a cheap jump up to the 9-9-9-24 Corsair ram. I would have purchased this if the difference was this small a couple months ago. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820233299
Summary: I purchased this memory a short while ago and have no problems whats-o-ever with them. How ever the $20 rebate card is almost useless. Applying for and receiving the $20 gift card was fairly easy.It took about 3 weeks for it to be in my hands.
Pros: Inexpensive. No issues at all. Running fast. Makes my photoshop experience much smoother. Used to run 2x4gb vengence ram and large files would always max out my memory. Now everything is smooth as silk with no pagefile usage. So if you do alot of image / video editing. Get as much ram as you can....
