Summary: This ram is basically the same as corsair vengeance. It just has a different cooler on it. It works and looks great with my 4670k and 280x. This ram didnt cost much more then 1600 mhz ram either.
Summary: Bought this for a home server so it is overkill; but on sale it was priced less than other RAM with lesser specs. Working great right out of the box. Selected the XMP profile for 1600 MHz but it is running at tighter timings than other DDR3-1600 RAM so should give better response in a server environment. I am pleased with this RAM and would buy it again.
Summary: This specific set of ram is great, it looks absolutely fantastic in my computer and it performs great without any hiccups. If you plan on overclocking this ram I highly recommend a RAM fan. I had no issues with it and all 8GBs are being detected and are available.
Pros: -Absolutely fantastic look and feel., -Very affordable.
Summary: I get this memory kit with my msi z77A-gd65 gaming MB and for now it's working great, can run at designated speed if set up XMP in BIOS. Would recommend it if someone's asking me my advice, it do the job although RAM isn't so important for a gaming rig, more if you do multitasking and video editing.
Summary: I had no problems getting it to the correct frequency of 1866Mhz with timings of 9-10-9-27. its worked perfectly fine with my Asus m5a99fx pro rev. 2.0 motherboard and Amd FX-8350 processor. As a note for people using many of the Asus amd motherboards, go to the bottom of the timings list and change the command rate from t1 to t2 it is defaulted to the wrong timing 9/10 times.
Summary: So I bought this several months ago for my haswell build. I had high hopes for this and at first it lived to my hopes and expectations, but after about a month I started having BSOD and memory dumps. So I tried scaling back to 1600mhz with no joy, I also tried decreasing my CPU OC but still had issues. I love corsair products and feel bad for giving it 2 stars but I feel even worse knowing I just wasted $90 on something that only lasted me a month.
