  • Summary: While worth the cost, it's sad that not too long ago this amount of RAM could be purchased for half as much as it's going for now.

  • Summary: Got this for my wife's mid-2010 iMac. The situation was a bit different than the previous reviewer, the factory memory was installed in the bottom slots. After struggling with the clamshell packaging that wouldn't let go of the sticks unless it was shredded to tiny pieces, we installed this new memory in the top slots. This was a bit tricky - the key was to press them in quite hard. Sealed it up, turned it on and it immediately booted fine - no beeping.
  • Pros: Works perfectly
  • Cons: Indestructible clamshell packaging
