Late 2011 15in. Macbook Pro experiences
GVM "gregvm", Amazon
3 April 2015
Summary: I bought for late 2011 macbook pro. I tested the memory in both slots, and it only worked in one. I then added the original RAM to the other slot that it didn't work in, and I have a total now of 10gb. So I consider it a success.
Summary: I bought this 8gb stick of ram for my Dell e6420 and am very happy with it... I popped it in and it showed up right away... no hassles... I've only had it for a week now so as far as long term there's not much I can say yet...
Summary: This upgrade rocked! Plugged right into my Acer Aspire One netbook. Lubuntu Linux, Puppy Linux, and the Linux Mint bootable USB all saw the full 8GB and used it. It did reduce my battery life by about 15%, but since this is an auxiliary machine, that's not a big issue.

Summary: Purchased this memory to expand the memory in a laptop, has been working well for over a year, just recently purchased another one to expand memory in a friend's laptop, too. Would definitely recommend!
Summary: I bought this RAM for my early 2011 Macbook Pro 13" and for some unavoidable reasons could not get time to install it for 7 weeks. Now 7 weeks after buying this I found that I got a faulty unit :(. I tried to put it on both the slots, with and without one of my old RAMs but it did not work.
